            Hello, I am Fiona the founder of Acorn Kids. We are a family owned business based in Melbourne, Australia. I started Acorn in 2009 after an elusive search for an ethical and cute beanie for my daughter.

            We have a strong focus on ethical production and are proud to support a womens' collective who hand-knit much of our winter range as well as local artists such as Jacinta Weir from Two Little Ducklings who hand-draws many of our prints.

            Perfect for swimming

            These hats are perfect for jumping in the pool . Put the hat on. Tighten the strap at back of head. Tie the strap under the chin then place goggles over the top. Hat will not come off no matter how many times the kids jump in the pool.

            I actually bought this for myself rather than a little person... only to discover it was a bit smaller than I expected. A good size for my little person, but not quite for me... shame!! Good quality, pretty design, does just what I need a tote to do :-)

            Love it! I was given a second hand acorn hat and it has been so good, so I thought I'd try one myself. I bought wide brim because I was frustrated with all the 'cheap' hats available which barely provide coverage. It looks cute, it fits great, and I am more excited for her to wear it than she is (and she really likes hats... she's only 1.5 years old haha).

            Great hat, love the colours and how lightweight it is. The extra broad brim is fantastic. Cinches down comfortably enough for us to size up. Have had some mild colour run on the inside of the hat, but doesn't affect use or appearance. Would have loved the chin strap to be removable but appreciate the safety clip!

            Great hat, lightweight and comfy enough that our toddler is happy enough to put it on herself. We bought a M for our child who would better fit a S (16month, <50cm head), but it cinched down well and she'll be able to grow into it for years. My only wish is that the neck strap was removable.

            Absolutely love these kids wide brim hats. The reversible print is super cute for my daughter. I love how wide the brim is but not floppy. Also really love the chin cord clip on the side for extra ease to strap on for babies. Cannot use any other hats now, these have stolen our hearts! 5 stars! 🌟

            My little girl gets comments on this beautiful hat whenever she wears it. I love the reversible design but know that means the tie under the chin needs to be put in a bow rather than a pull up system. That can be alittle challenging when my toddler is excited to leave and won’t sit still. I would still recommend it though!
