Bucket hat with a super cool frayed edge on the brim.
The hat features an elasticated toggle around the head for the perfect fit, plus a chin cord and toggle to keep it secure. For extra peace of mind, the chin cord comes with a safety release snap—ideal for running, jumping, and playing.
A lovely wide brim giving lots of great coverage and sun protection (Measures for each size S: 6cm, M: 6.5cm, L: 7cm, XL: 7.5cm).
Material: 100% Cotton Twill outer and 100% cotton lining.
Tested and certified to deliver maximum UPF50+ sun protection (blocking 99% of UVA/UVB) in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4399.

Australian Deliveries
Australian deliveries should take between 2 - 7 business days.
New Zealand Deliveries
New Zealand deliveries should take between 3 - 10 business days.
Other International Deliveries
International deliveries vary by country however the expected timeframe is between 5 -14 business days.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will assist you with an exchange, credit note or a refund.
Our policy lasts 14 days from the receipt of your order. Once you have notified us of your intention to return an item please post the parcel back to us within 5 working days.
Unless faulty or an incorrect item was sent the return postage is at the customers cost however once an item is received back Acorn will post out exchanges at our cost.
In the event a refund is provided it will be for the cost of the goods excluding the postage. If an order qualified for free postage but once it is in full or partly refunded it would no longer be eligible for free postage the usual postage charge will be deducted from the refund amount.
To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must be unworn and unwashed, in it’s original condition, with Acorn Kids swing tags attached and you must also have a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note there is no change of mind refund on items purchased using a credit note or items from the sale sections. An online credit will be issued to you in these circumstances. (This does not include full priced items purchased during a store wide discount, as these are current stock they are eligible for a refund if not suitable).

We recommend you wash your Acorn cotton hat with a gentle cool machine wash in a mild detergent.
Line dry in the shade taking care to ensure the shape of the hat and brim are maintained.
Cool iron on the reverse side if required.
Do not soak, rub, wring, bleach or tumble dry.
Very good quality thick material, wide brim for good sun protection. I sized up which is fine because they are adjustable. The chin strap clip seems to very easily unclasp. Would buy again.

Love this hat and the strap for under the chin, keeps the hat in place when my daughter is running around. The only downside would be the size or depth of the hat, my daughter just turned 3 and I don’t think it will last until she is 5. I think she has a larger top part of her head though and this could be the bucket style. I’d still buy again from this brand.

Love this hat! Was looking for a kids hat that had a wider brim for sun protection. I looks multiple places. Finally found one here. Also it's very difficult to find an older kids hat with a strap! The wind can still surprise older kids! The only thing I would change would be to have a safety release on the strap just in case.
